"Great overnight stop after a late afternoon train from Folkestone.
Plenty of free parking on site.
Room are basic but perfectly adequate for a night stop on route to Southern France.
Has a kettle and tea and coffee facilities.
Nice seating area both inside and out for an evening drink.
Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and well priced. The bar staff and waitress were attentive and engaging.
Good night sleep before heading off for an early start so cannot comment on the breakfast.
Would definitely stay here again. "
"Really lovely property in the countryside with a private pool. It had a huge garden where the children could run around. Hosts were very knowledgeable and welcoming. Breakfast is an extra but a great treat as you don’t have to think about things. Beaches only 30 mins away with beautiful soft golden sand. Kids loved the house cats. "
"Whilst we only had a very quick one night stay here en route to Paris we would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.
We were very late checking in but this wasn’t an issue and the owners even told us to get some food at a neighbouring village before coming to check in. When we arrived we were shown to a lovely big room with comfy beds and a great big shower. We were quickly asleep.
In the morning we had fresh bread and croissants for breakfast with orange juice and fresh coffee which was a lovely start to the day. "
"Amazing service we were really late arriving after check in closed was welcomed on arrival. Great location traditional french hotel basic but perfectly formed "
"Our second visit to the Auberge and we could return in the future. Nice setting, good food, lovely staff - and close to the channel crossing so makes a great stopover."
"Fantastic place! Big, comfortable room and large shower room with separate toilet.
Very clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated.
Breakfast was set out for me, nice fresh bread and croissants, jam, yoghurt, strawberries and more.
Exceptionally good value, less than an hour from the Eurotunnel."
