Good family stopover hotel

Nice hotel, very convenient split level room with clean and simple decor. Pool looked a little tired with limited changing facilities but was otherwise enjoyed by the kids. Perfect for an overnight stay with the family.

It looked like an old mansion in the picture from above, but it wasn't. But nevertheless, a nice stay, good breakfast and good dinner. Champagne was lovely! It was quiet an de room was large. Nice.

Beautiful grounds, easy parking. We only stayed 1 night and did not use the SPA facilities. Check in was straight forward. Staff were ok. We did not eat at the hotel. Our room was ok, but more consistent with a 3 Star category, specially the bathroom which looked very tired and worn; the ceiling panels, tile groutings, bath and basin surface needed immediate attention / improvements. The air con worked fine and looked new. We had a good night sleep.

Complicated shower to operate and reviews of the restaurant made us drive to Troyes to avoid an expensive mistake , €47 each for 3 course meal is not good value ! The room was €178 and it did not include breakfast , a further €15 per person

Frustrated with booking

We liked our stay but were frustrated that on arrival at the hotel we were booked into a family room. We were only two my wife and I and only needed a standard room which were available but the hotel could not change the booking as it had been made online on the Hotels.com app. So we were landed with a room for five people. I tried to get a credit for the room difference to apply to our dinner but was unable to do so.

We stopped en route back to uk from Italy. Lovely location but isolated from nearest town so no choice to eat other than at hotel. Dinner menu very odd . Variety of ingredients n plates which did not complement each other. Food was neither French or European. Serious problem with wasps in dining room Air conditioning system had broken down so had very poor nights sleep as no fans were offered and room temperature was high.we were advised not to open our windows because of mosquitoes I did complain when paying bill and was given discount of our restaurant bill.which was good but did not compensate for lack of sleep or quality of menu Breakfast was ok.

TrĂšs decu

Nous sommes venus pour un séjour golf, donc repas midi avant parcours, repas aprÚs parcours, nuit, petits déjeuners puis retour. Sauf que l'hÎtel qui gÚre aussi les departs pour le golf ne nous prévient que le golf est trÚs gras donc interdit aux chariots, et que le parcours n'est doncvpas tres réalisable mais pas fermé, etant sur place nous tentons l'expérience, impossible nous ne faisons que 9 trous et encore tres difficilement autre surprise ceux les greens d'hiver. Lamentable 3 heures de route pour venir. NE VENEZ SURTOUT PAS EN HORS SAISON.

Decevant pour un 4 etoiles. Pas peignoir dans la SdB, pas de chausson, plinthes detachees des lurs dans le couloir, lit dans le matelat etait trÚs "fatigué et creusé" Forte odeur "chimique" dans le lobby.
