"A modern hotel in a neighbourhood that's still developing, up a rather steep hill but not more than 10 minutes’ walk from the old town. Entry to the room and hotel relied on a four-digit code you had to put into a keypad, which also activated the electricity. He was proud to share his Cretan history and eco-farming techniques with us. We thoroughly recommend his farm tour.
