"This was our 2nd stay at this hotel amd we loved it on both occasions. Really lovely welcome from all the staff. There is a beautiful scent around the property whjch makes it feel very luxurious. Some aspects of the room like the furniture and carpet are rather dated /worn but the beds are comfy and rooms are quiet. The restaurant and other rooms around the hotel look really elegant, particularly on our visit in November when everything was very Christmassy.. The grounds are amazing and we really enjoyed sipping our cocktails outside the grandeur of this property, and using the spa facilities like the jacuzzi and steam room. All in all, a really pleasant stay. We will be back! "

"Nice hotel. Staff attentive, friendly but not overpowering. Barring one niggle (below), we had a good stay. The Gluten-free options for my wife at Breakfast were wide-ranging and good. The hotel is centrally situated, and so there are plenty of places you can walk to (park, shops, restaurants) within 2 or 3 minutes. Didn't use the bar or dine in except one breakfast, so can't comment, but it is the same area as where breakfast is served, and is spacious and clean. The room was clean, and refreshments and towels were replenished. ONLY negative point:The room we were in (43), not sure if it applies to others, had a towel rail that is permanently on, without any on/off/thermostat control. This made the room too warm, and having the window open only just countered this. Since there was a double switch outside the bathroom, and only one of them appeared to do anything (bathroom light), maybe the other could be repurposed for the towel rail and labelled as such?"

"The Spa was the best thing I enjoyed at this hotel thank you Needs an undercover visit to iron out some of the issues I'm not putting on here. Food and Drink very expensive for what you get Thats all on here "

"The first room we were allocated looked as though the beds had been sat on, so we asked for a different room, and that one was fine. Soap and shower gel were the only toiletries provided and meagre amounts of tea and coffee were in the room. More was given on request and plant based milk too, which was great. We didn't eat at the hotel because as a vegan and a vegetarian, suitable food choices were limited, plus the information we were given was that, because we were staying out of season some services were unavailable. The Receptionist was helpful, though some issues (like how to get the TV to work, or the heating or wifi) could be resolved by providing more information in the room. Overall, the accommodation was suitable for the purposes of our stay."

"Really clean room. Lovely grounds and entrance into the lobby. Everything was perfect. Usually hotel rooms in these places are noisy and cold but this was perfection. Staff were really nice too."

"Rooms were lovely. Apart from the glass door separating it from bedroom. It only had privacy glass and could still see person sitting on the toilet. Apart from that everything was fine "

"I recently stayed at the Village Hotel Bracknell for a 1-night family stay (2 adults, 2 kids). The experience was unfortunately ruined by poor communication and rude staff. Room Issues Our family room was unbearably hot due to a broken AC. I reported this at 7:00 PM before dinner. When we returned at 9:00 PM, it was still broken. Reception initially claimed no other family rooms were available. Only after significant persuasion were we finally given two double rooms. I appreciate the eventual resolution, but it shouldn't have been a long winded negotiation. Dinner Disaster At our 7:00 PM dinner, no one warned us about kitchen delays or how the kids' meals worked. We waited a full hour for food (30 minutes for starters, 30 minutes for mains). To make matters worse, my son’s chicken tenders never arrived. When I asked, I was finally informed there was a "children's buffet." Had we known this when seated, we wouldn't have made hungry kids wait an hour for a missing meal. Breakfast Rudeness The next morning, the manager assigned us a table that wasn't made up yet. We placed our water beakers down, and a waitress rudely scolded us for putting items on an un-set table. I reported her unprovoked rudeness directly to the manager, who offered absolutely no apology. Basic hospitality and communication were entirely missing during our stay. Would not recommend unless you don't mind the poor customer service levels."
