"This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the unique Upper Humber Settlement. Breakfast each morning of our stay was fresh from the farm. Ingrid, who provided us with our breakfast, would join us at our table after serving us to talk about what we had done the previous day & what we were planning to do that day. She would provide us with information on the area & Newfoundland in general. Great introduction to Newfoundland hospitality. "

"Great location with a great view of downtown. Spacious room and comfortable beds.
The restaurant down in the pub made the biggest fish tacos we’ve ever seen, so good! Plus we took it to go, and just left the tray outside our room.

"The location on the banks of the Humber River at Steady Brook is a beautiful natural wonder. The dining options on Sunday and Monday are non-existent, but we picked up some prepared foods and sat in the breakfast room on Monday., which was the only meal which we needed to have on-site. The value compares well with hotels in Corner Brook. We had access to a vehicle which is essential for this property."
