The Lord Nelson Hotel & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at the Lord Nelson! Our room was spacious and clean, and the location was perfect across from the Public Gardens and within walking distance to the waterfront or the north end. "
"Excellent room with a fantastic view of the citadel and river, staff were all very friendly and helped out when we needed them. The only slight criticism is not having any milk in the room and having to ask for it to make a simple cup of tea. Not a major issue though! "
"Everything about the property was top notch! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast provided was wonderful. Coffee was even provided throughout the day. The location was terrific. It was very convenient to walk anywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely stay here again."
"Our stay was fabulous. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and happy. Rooms were a good size (two adults + two kids), clean and the beds were comfortable. We faced Grafton St and did not hear any street noise. For dining, we had the breakfast buffet, food and drink service from the bar on the patio and room service. Everything was great. Hotel was a very short walk to the waterfront which was convenient. Our kids loved the pool. The pool deck can be very hot though.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know and would stay here for our next trip to Halifax! "
"This is our third time staying at this hotel. It’s such a wonderful stay, The rooms are always clean and the staff are very friendly. Jeff at the bar is an amazing bartender that makes the experience even better. 100% would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat "
