"There is shops about 4 miles away in the town of Hamilton. You could take a bus if you don’t suffer from Orthopedic problems because it’s a lot of steep uphill walking to the bus stop. I used a cab to get from A to B. My biggest problem was the pump in the utility room 3 doors down from my room which was beachfront and pricey kept banging throughout the day and night disturbing my sleep.The hotel offered another room after the problem wasn’t corrected to sleep at night. That room was a cheaper booking and another steep climb!!House keeping was friendly. On the day of checkout the woman at the front desk handed me a bill for 150.00 dollars more than Expedia booked me for. She called the manager and had to accept my original quote from Expedia ,but complained that I was underpaying!! Coffee pot was broken in the room. Housekeeping could only find me a kettle that I gladly excepted. The beautiful beach is the only reason I would recommend this hotel.However the majority of the staff were kind."

"This is a lovely property with spectacular views. Our room was spotless and we were welcomed warmly with help with our bags and information to help us settle in. A couple of considerations when staying there before the busy season starts: The ferries do not run on the weekend at this time so you will need to take taxis. Some businesses are running on a reduced hours schedule. I would definitely stay here again!"

The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged and it was a great place to unwind after a day out. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, stylish, and clearly very well looked after. What really stood out was how much the stay added to my overall experience of Bermuda. The location made it easy to explore, and the staff were always happy to offer helpful suggestions. It felt like the perfect base to enjoy the island. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and truly gave me a great experience of Bermuda. I would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. "
