"This is a beautiful country house with large, airy and elegant rooms. My welcome, late at night, was very friendly and helpful, the room was large with very high ceilings and well appointed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a beautiful bath and the shower was great. In the morning I opened the curtains to a wonderful view of lovely gardens. "The hotel is very convenient for the railway station, but that also means on-street parking and hotel access raises security concerns, eg you have to pay on arrival not departure, among other things. Breakfast very average. Adequate for one or two nights only"
