Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable lodging in a central location. Small water bottle in room at arrival would have been nice, but local mints in bathroom and Christmas chocolate on pillow were very thoughtful. Would also have liked to see homemade jam instead of high glucose factory stuff as an extra touch at breakfast. Blackout curtains worked and bathroom was modern and spacious. Would definitely stay again.

Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel, mit einem sehr guten Frühstück und sehr sauberem Zimmer. Zwei Kleinigkeiten gab es, mir hat in dem Einzelzimmer Ablagefläche am Bett gefehlt und die Dusche war beim aussteigen rutschig. Ich werde gerne wiederkommen.

Das Bad ist nicht im besten Zustand. Am Schrank im Zimmer lassen sich die Türen nicht schließen und stehen somit immer offen. Das Personal ist nett und das Frühstück sehr gut.

Check-In war etwas holprig, da wir keinen Reservierungscode hatten und die Rezeption grad zu dem Zeitpunkt nicht besetzt war. Letztendlich dann doch sehr freundlicher Empfang. Niedliches Hotel mit Geschichte. Zimmer sauber- nur in den Ecken könnte mal gesaugt werden. Unser Zimmer war ruhig, wir konnten entspannt schlummern. Frühstück ok...kein Luxus, aber dem Preis angemessen. Wir werden wieder kommen im nächsten Jahr.

I recently stayed at Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt and was impressed by its unbeatable location—right in the city center, just steps from the main square, the train station, and the stunning baroque Heidecksburg Castle. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building dating back to 1880, which adds a lot of character and charm to the experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and tastefully decorated, reflecting the style of the period while still offering modern comfort. There is parking available, which is a great convenience if you’re traveling by car. One downside is that the rooms are not air-conditioned, which can be a bit uncomfortable in hot weather. However, given the age and style of the building, it’s understandable and didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. The staff is friendly, though they speak only German, which might be a bit challenging for non-German speakers. As for breakfast, it’s fairly basic—not outstanding, but perfectly adequate to start the day. Overall, Hotel Adler is a great choice if you’re looking to stay somewhere with character and a central location in Rudolstadt.

Direkt am Marktplatz gelegen, in der historischen Altstadt. Unweit des Schlosses. Sehr angenehm und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt. Bei längerem Aufenthalt würden der knarzende Holz fussboden stören. Das war ausreichend. Mittelmäßig.
