The kitchen and living area were both well-equipped and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. My booking and payment had been confirmed. I even received an email the next morning to see how our stay was going and another asking us to rate our stay. We booked through hotels.com and still trying to get to the bottom of what happened. We ended up in a quadruple room in the Travel lodge (at our own expense) this was not the family...

"Really lovely hotel that we would definitely recommend, we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is modern & spotlessly clean. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. There is a nice, well maintained pool area We stayed on one of the hottest days of the year, but the air con in our room was very quiet and efficient. Our beds were really comfortable too. The buffet breakfast was nicely cooked and everything was regularly refreshed. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"Great place to stay in the centre of Shrewsbury. Plenty of tea coffee and milk left and replenished daily. Lovely bar and beer garden, we ate here two nights as food was so good. It was very hot so windows left open, there was road noise in the mornings. I would advise bringing earplug if staying in the summer. Would stay here again if we returned to Shrewsbury"
