"Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? "we were there with some friends and we kept getting threatened because of our age probably but we assured them that we werent there for a party , they were saying they were gonna come out of nowhere to make sure we were 5 , she also added on to threaten us that if we left late she was going to keep our deposit money our whole stay the was bery uncomfortable and after we left they refused to give us part of our deposit back and although we cleaned the house they claimed that we left it dirty...

"Two night stay for my partner and I as we were attending a couple of events at The Roadmender. Only a 5 mins walk straight down the road to the venue! Hotel on the outskirts of the town centre, shops, restaurants, bars, takeaways- spoilt for choice all within a few minutes walk. Nice clean room, comfy bed, hot powerful shower, food and drinks available 24/7 and friendly, helpful staff- always ready to greet you with a smile. What more could you want! We would definitely stay again."
