"This hotel is very well-maintained and clean. It is in a good location, near 74 & 46. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Really nice breakfast, too. Wi-Fi is marginal (9 down and 3 up). My only complaint is that the fitness center doesn't open until 10:00AM. With a checkout time of 11:00AM, that doesn't leave time for a workout and shower."
"Very nice, open, and big room. Very clean.
Nice location to several restaurants and shopping.
The hotel has little to offer other than the nice and clean rooms."
"Our stay was wonderful! Property was well maintained with easy parking (we had a small trailer). Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower had nice hot water with good water pressure. I would definitely recommend. "
"The breakfasts staff was very attentive and everything was well stocked. However, I've had much better quality precooked eggs and sausage at other hotel breakfasts. I was not able to eat mine.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. "
"The room was clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are quiet because the building is not right next to highway or interstate. Breakfast is good and I love their coffee. Centrally location for eating or shopping."
"Disgusting....dried blood, stains, all sorts of stuff all over the box springs, sheets, towels. Who knows when the floors were vacuumed last. The whole hotel stinks. None of the outer doors lock, and our dead bolt didn't lock either."
"The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was small, but good. Wi-Fi is adequate (about 20 down and 3 up). The room and property weren't very clean."
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Shelbyville Indianapolis by IHG
8/10 Good
"Reserved a king room and requested a room not facing the interstate. This property cannot offer that - all king rooms face the noisy interstate. The king rooms away from the interstate are all king suites - for an upcharge, of course! Being an IHG member at a property that was obviously less than 25% booked (about 15 cars in the lot), a complementary upgrade would have been a nice customer relations move. But no, it was "I'll need your credit card again."
And not even a friendly greeting! Worse, upon entry there was no one at the front desk until a housekeeper located the person.
Did not have this problem down I-74 at Greensburg property!"
