"The location is amazing! It has both stunning views of lake on one side and mountains on the other side. The room was clean, well set, fresh smell and well set. Restaurant was top notch! Their Breakfast offerings have both cold and hot stations. They had fresh fruits and fresh veggies. Their morning chef Daniel was very accommodating in their Omelette Station and Finally the view from the Restaurant is to die for! Highly Recommended."

"Lovely place, quiet and accessible walk to town. Go across street to private area, sit and enjoy the lake and mountain view. ONLY PROBLEM room was super hot, no AC and could not leave door open because a few bugs flew in. My husband didn't like that he had to pay for the coffee and bread. The manager was a lovely lady, very helpful. People in the town, not so much! Not engaging at all! "

"The rooms (more appartments) are huge, 10p can sleep here although that might be somewhat crowded. The hotel is opposite the funicular railway which connects walkways in the mountains between Flachau, Wagrain and St Johan. Especially fun for families with kids, there is a lot to do! "Pros: Clean, quiet and comfortable. Check-in over the phone was fast and efficient (be aware that you need to be able to make phone calls to check in!). Cons: Pretty pricey but it is what it is for a place within waking distance of Hallstatt village center. Internet was quite slow. If you are planning to cook, be aware that kitchen utensils are somewhat lacking compared to most apartments of this type, and there are no condiments (oil, salt etc) provided."
