"We had a lovely weekend stay at this apartment. It was spotlessly clean, modern and very comfortable-perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were cosy and the whole place had a fresh, welcoming feel. The only small thing we noticed was that there weren’t many mirrors, which would have been handy-but that didn’t take away from the overall great experience. Would definitely stay again! "

"There is one main gripe - arrived late and then realise that - after using the shower - it dripped like Niagara Falls throughout the night. Otherwise it was very well located and nicely fitted out for a one night stay. But please fix that shower"

"Very nice and clean hotels, we where actually quite surprised! Highly recommend and the hotel staff and the manager where amazing. The only problem is , " Parking " They don't have many spaces, so it's all about your luck when you arrive! But the hotel manager went out and beyond to try find us a space. Overall 9/10 !"

"Hotel desperate needs attention to detail, but bar area, reception and gardens are nice. The pool area was very poor on the eye, jacuzzi deconstructed for fixing or maintenance but it looks dreadful in the pool area when swimming! Pool area needs cleaning/tidying up. Split panels, broken panels, windows all hazy, just looks a bit in a state of disrepair. No notification that jacuzzi wasn’t working, pool temp ok, closes 1900hrs but you have to be out by 1845! Last pool entry 1800hrs and hotel guest cost is £4 per person inc children £1 to use towel too. Ate in bar food was very nice, simply selection but plenty of choice! To summarise value for money but needs maintaining somewhat in a few areas!"

"We have stayed at the Sofitel London Gatwick Hotel before and their service has always been exceptional. On this overnight stay, because we had an early flight to catch, their efficiency at check-in was even better than I remembered. Other VIP access hotels have many times not given the perks at their front desk check-in. I had brought that to the attention of Hotels.com and an agent said if the hotel is not forthcoming, that we should ask for the perks we are entitled to when staying at a VIP access properties. The front desk agent, Mo, was excellent. Everything was already prepared including the voucher for 20% off food and beverage. The bed, bed linens and pillows were heavenly. The room was clean. Staff offered to make reservations for us at one of their restaurants. We ate at the Mediterranean one. Food was delicious. One thing to note; the Chinese restaurant does not honor the 20% voucher but you are told this at the front desk and so it is not a surprise. I would definitely stay here again. All the special requests we made, were honored. There is a breakfast card on the door. If you fill it out by or before 2am, your order is delivered to the room at your chosen time. We had to check-in by 8am and so got the chance to have breakfast in the room before check-in."

Mercure Dartford Brands Hatch Hotel & Spa

"The hotel was easy to find and had everything we needed on site or nearby. The staff were so friendly and amazingly helpful. I booked a Superior room which was huge with a large bed and lovely bathroom....but, after an hour or so of being in the room, we realised that the door next to the bed was actually an interconnecting door to the next room. We could hear EVERYTHING the couple next door were up to. I did go to reception, and they were very helpful and accommodating and upgraded us to a Privilege room on the next floor, so I really cannot fault the staff at all. This room even had a partial track view and a mini fridge and loads of extras. Unfortunately later that night we realised that the walls in this room were paper thin, and we spent an hour and a half listening to man having a conversation on his phone. I probably wouldn't stay again, or recommend this hotel, as there is obviously no soundproofing on any of the rooms. For what they cost, you would expect this as standard to ensure privacy and peace for everyone. The parking is also quite expensive. £20.00 for 2 cars for the night. I understand that they must get a lot of people trying to park for the track, but other Mercure Hotels include parking, and all you have to do is add your vehicle reg to validate. So unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel."
