Hotel was closed when we arrived at 11pm. Absolutely no notice but according to the sign on the door a water pipe had broken and the entire property was dark. No one around, no one to share information…I go to Ruston 3 or 4 times a year but will never stay there again!

Bad stay at this hotel!

The phone in the room was out of service, the room had a meadow smell, and the cable to the tv did not work; could not watch anything. I reported it a the front desk.

we arrived from Houston on evening of Thursday, May 1, 2025, to find the parking lot in Ruston, Louisiana, abandoned, with a flimsy handwritten (misspelled) cardboard sign taped to the front door reading "closed, emergency maintenance, contact third party" we received NO heads up notification that we would not be able to check in on Thursday. We had to go through a long process of talking to AI at exlpdia.com and then FINALLY a live person in Asia that comped us a room at Travel Inn. Why didn't anyone in the entire company inform us ahead of time that this location has gone belly up?

Nothing against the hotel about our accommodations. However, Expedia did not give us the room that I paid for. I had my receipt for a room with two queen beds, but we were given a room with one bed. This did not make our stay pleasant. There were NO other rooms available.

Breakfast was out while I attended. The elevator was raunchy n kinda busted up. The workers were nice. Hotel is tucked off behind another one. Room was clean but toilet paper holder in bathroom was broken.

The property had a problem with burst pipes which shut down the entire hotel but they didn’t inform incoming guests. I arrived late in the evening to find I had no accommodations. There was no information posted at that time so I had no idea what was going on. Luckily I was able to find a room at the last minute, unfortunately at a very high rate. Too late to search for anything better. Very unhappy!

There was no hot water for 2 days so no one in my family could take showers. Elevator door crashed open and closed and we were waiting for it to fail. No spare Toilet paper in room. No coffee before breakfast like every other hotel i've ever stayed in. Breakfast didn't get put out until 730am.

LIVING NIGHTMARE!

Terrible, idk where to start..roaches..pubic hair on towels...bad odor..bed very uncomfortable..didn't try the breakfast after seeing what i saw in the room..so gross!!! Nasty...Housekeepers were eating breakfast off the line and one was still in pj's..omg. so unprofessional. Pool was green.

This property was not what we expected. We went to call the front desk about the television not working to find out that all phones lines were down. The garbage can was filthy. We put it outside on the hall. The room had a wet smell but after cleaning it the odor went away.

Wifi network name is “Onyx Guest”. Who the hell is Onyx? The name of the hotel is Comfort Inn and Suites. No clear instructions given. Unable to connect to wifi and front desk was dismissive and unhelpful. No “comfort” about this stay.
