"The carpark was very busy over the weekend and, after a long day out, we were forced to park as far away from the hotel as was possible. Weddings and the attraction of the spa probably accounted for this. The food was more than average except for the breakfast which was excellent. The staff, to my knowledge without exception, were very welcoming and noticeably hard working. The room was slightly more spacious than average with spotless facilities and a comfy bed (single). So, for the most part this was a great place to say for four nights. However, if you're averse to dogs, despite those we encountered being well behaved and quiet, this wouldn't be the best place for you."

"Room was huge so was the bathroom plenty of room for the whole family and fury friends if you have them! Beds were comfortable and clean everything provided for a lovely stay. Sunday roast and other foods were beautiful and yummy. Would stay again for sure, reception staff were amazing and offered up gluten free options and places we could eat when they had stopped serving when we arrived, lovely little town. Everything youโ€™d need. Local shop, coffee shop, pubโ€™s, restaurants and a tiny petrol station all within the same high street thatโ€™s less than a mile long. Great value for money ๐ŸŒŸ"
