I really enjoyed my stay here - beautiful rooms, a great location and it’s a small detail but I really loved the fact that they had small oat milk options with the tea and coffee in the room. Would definitely stay here again.

Greeted by a very helpful Nicole, who also took dinner order and dealt with dietary requirements. Rooms modern and clean. You have to pay to park but car park is very close. Location very close to the town centre.

Everything is great, walking distance to everything. Parking not super easy given the limited spaces available around the property, and you have to pay for it - around 8 pounds a day.

Friendly staff. Pleasant room. Great find.

Very positive experience. Staff were welcoming, friendly and made me feel at home from the moment that I walked in. I called beforehand to check on something and they were really helpful. The room was pleasantly decorated, nice big tv, very clean and well appointed, with tea, coffee and bottled water. Central location. Dog friendly establishment. This is somewhere that I would definitely recommend and will return to when I'm the area.

Great Dog-Friendly Break

we had a fantastic break at a reasonable price too. Lovely staff, very good breakfast, gorgeous, well equipped and comfortable room and beautiful decor throughout the inn. Dog welcome in rooms for a reasonable supplement (with extras provided for it too: bowl and welcome kit) and in the pub. Will come back!

40th wedding anniversary

I have always wanted to visit Rye after l heard about it on the radio. I was not disappointed. The Ship Inn staff were very welcoming, the food was lovely and also the atmosphere, you felt that the staff were happy in their work. We had our rather large dog with us, who settled quickly to his different surroundings. Also a sausage treat now and then was welcomed. I would definitely stay there again, also so well placed for accessing the town, only downside is parking, we managed each time to find a space where you could park for free. I would highly recommend a stay at the Ship Inn.

Wonderful place to stay

A lovely place to stay if you are visiting Rye. It’s in a great spot with good food and very helpful, friendly staff. Couldn’t fault it at all and would definitely return.

We had a couple comfortable nights stay at The Ship Inn. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was a little too soft for us, but that's just our own personal preference. Food in the restaurant was amazing with friendly staff and prompt customer service.
