"The rooms were excellent, spacious, modern and very comfortable. The buffet was also very good, with plenty of choice, and the hotel in general was clean and well maintained. The only reason I have given 4 stars rather than 5 is the price. We paid around £480 for the night, and although we enjoyed our stay, I simply don't think the hotel experience justified that level of pricing. In my view, around £300 per night would have been much more appropriate for this type of hotel. That said, I appreciate we stayed during peak August season and booked at relatively short notice, which will obviously have influenced the rate. Overall, a very good family hotel with excellent rooms and a good buffet, just significantly overpriced for our stay."

"The area of Blanes is stunning and offers lots of hats , restaurants & shops. The location of the hotel is a 15 walk from the main centre. It does have lots of shops around though. It's very much on the quiet area which was nice. The hotel room we had slept x 5 so plenty of room for the 4 of us. The pool area wasn't very appealing as it was on a road with no privacy. You can use the hotel across the road so bare that on mind. We experience some wind by the poolside and the parasols become loose and hit my husband on the head. After reporting it the staff didn't come and investigate. In fact many parasols went flying across the poolside. You don't see any S sff at all round the pool as they stay in the bar area. My boy asked for some ice from bar staff and was told he couldn't have any. We had bought drinks & food during our stay so was a bit disappointing that we couldn't have a couple of ice cubes !! A bit mean telling a child 'NO'. The rooms were cleaned daily in the morning and towels changed. This was fine until the last day when nobody has come and at 3pm we reported to reception that we didn't have any clean towels. We were assured that someone would be with us soon and that they were busy. By 8pm we were still left with no towels so tried to call reception. The phone rand out and when answered it hung up the other end. My husband had to go down to reception and he was give a couple of towels. No body came until 9.30 pm that day which is totally unacceptable! "
