7. The Village House by CDV

Carrazeda de Ansiaes

"The hotel is rather small (a very good thing for me!), but the room I had was large and the bathroom too. It was modern and very clean, with A/C. It was called Mallus and had a French door to the street which meant I had to have the blind down all the time for privacy, really the only drawback to it all. The breakfast is very good, fresh, and the manager very kind and dedicated. I highly recommend!"

Top Sabrosa Hotel Reviews

Quinta Vale de Lobos Douro

8/10 Good

"Great staff. Amazing clean. Great location! At leas"

Crisol Régua Douro

8/10 Good

"Front desk staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. Breakfasts, and breakfast staff were very good. Housekeeping was also very good. Views from the hotel were beautiful and the location is excellent. Parking was relatively easy. Hotel pool and surrounding area was very tired looking and needed umbrellas or some sort of shaded area and decor. Rooms were very dated and carpet was very worn. We booked three rooms and two of the couples commented that their beds were uncomfortable and needed to be replaced. All of us felt that it was a good place to go if you are only staying for a short time. At one time this hotel would have been stunning. With some renovations it could be a real gem again."

Five Sabrosa Senses

8/10 Good

"The accommodation is very nice and the views are spectacular. Great pool and sauna. They need to tidy up around the rooms as there are lots of weeds in the pathways. Outside the cabins could do with paving or decking as it’s not great to sit out on the bare soil and rocks. The was a towel on the sun beds that was there for outlet entire stay and should have been taken away. Overall it’s a very nice place but the owners/staff need to make an effort to keep it looking pristine"

Casa do Arco by Douro Exclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay at Casa Do Arco exceeded every expectation. The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views in every direction. The hospitality and service were truly five‑star—every staff member was warm, professional, and attentive in a way that made us feel genuinely cared for. We loved everything about this property: the serene location, the beautiful surroundings, and the exceptional team who made our stay unforgettable. We cannot wait to return."
