"The room was very warm and had a VERY musty smell when we arrived. It would be nice if they would cool the rooms of expected guests on really hot days so you're not walking into a sauna. I had to purchase a can of room deodorizing spray and use repeatedly. Would have liked a few more towels, I use more than 1 when I shower and wash my hair. Other than that the rooms were good. We never made it to breakfast ( by choice) but never got a whiff of it either. There was no excessive noise and parking and location was great. We chose to stay at the Burke Inn because it was about $50 cheaper than other hotels in the area. Would I stay there again ... not if all the rooms smelled like that. It felt unhealthy to be breathing in all that musty smell. We were there 2 1/2 days and it never went away. "

"Small town Inn with a general vibe of you are in the country. Rooms were cleaned but sure did step back into the 90s with the decor. Located right by the downtown and famous Pocahontas statue. A gas station is right across the street. Only thing I would suggest for change is the bedding and pillows."
