"Sıcak bir karşılama, güler yüz ve temiz oda! Nispeten sakin bir yerde böylesi bir otel, paha biçilmez bir imkan! Başta Ayşe hanım olmak üzere tüm çalışanlar, inanılmaz kolaylıklar sağlıyorlar! Konum mükemmel, 20 m mesafedeki kum plajda şezlong ve şemsiyeleri var. Deniz, sabah mükemmel, akşam biraz dalgalı (karadeniz!). Odalar tertemiz, sakin. Kahvaltı iyi! Ayşe hanıma kahve var mıdır dedim hemen kendi kahvelerinden ikram etti. İstanbulun yanı başında harika bir otel ve deniz kıyısı"

"My daughter and I stayed at Balkaya Çiftliği for three nights. We had originally booked two, but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay. The location is peaceful, surrounded by lovely hills, and the breakfasts are a real highlight with fresh local flavours. Coffee and tea are also available, which was a nice touch. One thing to mention: I was told I could extend the third night at the same rate as my original booking, but the final bill reflected the higher standard price. It might have been a simple oversight, though it was a little disappointing."

"Very so-so. Disappointed that there are no laundry facilities despite the claim on the property details, as I was hoping to wash my cycling gear before continuing. Also found the receptionist rather churlish and abrupt, though he did find a safe place for the bike. All in all could do a lot better. He really needs to learn how to treat people pleasantly. "

"Rooms were not cleaned. The floor was quite dirty. Hair was all over the blanket and pillow. The bed is small and quite uncomfortable. Once you enter the room there is a very unpleasant dust and smoke smell. There is a “no smoking” sign in the room, but the room smells smoke and the couch has smoke/burn holes. "
