"I had a really pleasant stay at The Ship. The room was compact but spotless and well-organised, with a comfy single bed, en-suite bathroom, TV, and a side cabinet stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits—such a thoughtful touch. It had been a long time since I’d slept in a single bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a clean, cosy spot with all the essentials. "

"Lovely staff all around. The food was great, my room was cleaned beautifully and was well equipped with everything that I needed. Would recommend!"

"Friendly staff, reasonably priced food and a decent room. Unfortunately the room was just off the garden which was busy and very noisy so we got hardly any sleep and had to up at 3.30 Providing ear plugs would be a good idea. "
