"Beautiful pousada at the top of the village. Tucked away from the busy main road, you can reach it through a very steep path, 10 minutes walk from the pier. The strenuous walk is worth your sweat. A beautiful tropical garden welcomes you to the restaurant and reception area. Very nice breakfast prepared every morning by the amazing staff. The view from the rooms at the top floor is nice, and each balcony has its own hammock where we spent our evening relaxing. Three beautiful cats live at the pousada and we made sure to pet them every day. The staff at the reception has been also very attentive and nice to chat with. We would definitely come back."

"Fantastic location - walkable from AbraĆ£o, but with a feel of really being in the middle of nature. The view from the room is wonderful and we spent a lot of time just relaxing on the balcony. The staff were kind and helpful throughout and the breakfast was just right to get us energized for the day. The trail to Lopes Mendes is close to the property too. Visit the museum next door when staying. It is beautiful and interesting. Very much recommended"
