"The hotel does not have air con and for that night in mid summer it was a problem. Other than that my hosts were excellent and coped with my poor French. The room was very clean and perfectly comfortable. I was given a fan at check in which did help a lot"

"This was a real treat for us, it is one of those hotels that you stay in and eat at for a real treat. Everything from the decor to the grounds were impeccable, and the food.......why is it only a Michelin 1 star restaurant, one of the best meals that I have eaten."
