"Staying on Mont st Michel was a wonderful experience. The room I stayed in while small, was still charming and offered a fantastic view over the ramparts. Do note, the entire building is tiny, with tight staircases and no possibility of an elevator getting installed. Par for the course for anything many centuries old."

"This was a special stay, not for the quality of the accommodation but because of it's location and history. Room was fairly basic but a view to die for, just spectacular. Mt St Michel is magnificent, at night it becomes magical. The abbey lit up at night was amazing. La mere Poulard was ok, friendly reception and good sized, old fashioned room with important fridge, bottled water and fan (essential for the summer). Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, charcuterie, fresh pastries and breads and freshly made gluten free bread. The rooms are dripping in history. Worth it just to experience the Mt and Abbey at night and early morning before it is swamped with visitors. Parking is off site c£35"

"We arrived pretty late so we waited for a bit for check in but they had us covered. The hotel was nice and a great room for our family of four to sleep comfortably but the price was extremely high for the quality. "

"Overall a good stay at the Relais. We chose this hotel because we wanted to view Mont Saint Michel from our room. The view did not disappoint. The hotel does seem dated but we were told they were in the middle of renovations. We also arrived an hour early and they did not allow us to check in early. The hotel is located right next to a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel which was convenient. "

"I had a magical and memorable stay at this beautifully kept and historic Chateau. The Chateau is located around 20 minutes from Mont St. Michele and hours drive from dinan. The chateau itself is located on a peaceful country road on grounds inhabited by a lovely flock of geese who spend their days meandering the properties’ ponds. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean with strong air conditioning and decorated with antiques and paintings that speak to the history of the home. The service, a small professional team complimented by the warm hospitality of the de Roquefeuil family made the experience memorable. The highlight of my stay was chatting with the Count Regis de Roquefeuil, who graciously entertained my many questions about the history of the Chateau (the current property predates the french revolution and has seen tremendous moments in history). We were also glad we elected to enjoy the breakfast, which the family customizes to the guests taste. We were also pleasantly surprised at the number of services and amenities that the owners were able to offer (everything from the honor bar to a host of experiences that can be arranged).
