"There was a calm, genteel feel to the hotel and grounds, a sense of grandeur past. The staff were helpful and polite. The grounds were lovely and we enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast in the gardens. It would have been good to have some help taking heavy bags up the stone stairs as there did not seem to be a lift/elevator."

"My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at the Casa Dina in one of their beautiful fully equipped studios. Due to last minute travel changes (we were touring Provence by car) we arrived early. We were met by our host Eric who was very welcoming and explained this wasn’t an issue for him due to the previous guests leaving early that morning. "Självaste boendet var fint. Läget är lite off men det vet man när man bokar. Det är som en liten by, folk är trevliga och hälsar. Resturang ich affär på området. Lugnt och trevligt. "Great place for a family to enjoy the quietness of the Cevenes National park. You can either stay at the hotel and do all the activities they have. you can't get bored, or you can use it as a base to drive around the park. The people at the property are very very nice and helpful. They offered us several places to visit that were wonderful."

"This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. This time it totally lived up to expectations. It is amazingly convenient for the centre of historic Nimes, opposite the Maison Carre! The rooms are comfortable, the building itself interesting architecturally, and some very quirky and amusing decor. We arrived during the Pentecost festival, which was very lively ☺️. Some features of the hotel were out of action while they cleaned up afterwards, but plenty of cafes restaurants around. The staff are amazing and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was fab. I have multiple allergies and they catered for them really carefully. Thank you, Hotel Nimes, we will be back! "
