"This out of the way small hotel is amazing The gardens are lovely, along the river and old bridge, and the restaurant truly special. It’s close to Rocamadour and other sites.
FYI: There aren’t shops nearby, but a casual lunch place with good food is a fifteen minute walk."
"The room was very clean and the area was quiet. We left before breakfast so no rating there. The Château restaurant was not open, perhaps because it is April? However, Ginette Restaurant was open one night and it was quite good. The location is fantastic for the cathedral. It is a bit of a walk to restaurants and shops in town but the walk is beautiful."
"Great location and a really lovely hotel. We stayed in Room 16, which overlooks the courtyard and has a beautiful view of the Citadel of Rocamadour, especially at night when it’s all lit up.
Dropping our bags off was very straightforward thanks to the hotel’s drop-off point, and we were lucky enough to find parking on the nearby street. The steps leading back up to the hotel were easy enough to manage.
The only slight downside was the pillows, which were a little on the lumpy side. Aside from that, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it."
"Les Esclargies is a truly beautiful hotel perfectly located in Rocamadour. Martine, Adrien, and their team are magnificent and helpful hosts. Breakfast is superb, parking is easy and the design and location of Les Esclargies is in one of the most beautiful locations in France. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Medieval village and so many beautiful and natural scenery."
