"Unique modern hotel constructed above the 1874 Montreal Cotton Company mill building. Contemporary nicely finished rooms and building interior spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean and staff were excellent. Framed black and white photos of the people that worked in the mill, and on the machines processing the cotton, are found throughout the hotel. They make a nice human connection between the past and the present.
Recommend purchasing the breakfast meal ticket (currently $15 vs $19 at the door) at check-in for an additional saving. Currently 5 menu options that all include coffee. We had the breakfast bowl (big bowl with good sized serving of yogurt, granola, mixed fruit: pineapple, watermelon, grapes, and currents) plus the 2 eggs with pulled pork, potatoes, brown neans, baguette, and small dish of fruit with a slice of watermelon, pineapple, and orange.
Free parking was available for the property adjacent to the building.
The front desk staff were excellent too. Maude welcomed us with a big smile and gave us a quick overview. Marie-Luffie checked us out and wished us a good day and safe trip.
We would highly recommend a stay at the Moco Valleyfield Hotel. It was delightful."
