"Two black marks against my name on our arrival as we arrived a whole 5 mins before time - and I perched on a stool in the hallway to say hello to the dog to be told I mustn’t sit on the stool as it’s an antique!! "Staff were so welcoming. Room was clean, bathroom was recently updated and had a/c which was so nice with abnormally higher temps. The hotel fit the look of the city and was yet modern in the room. They offered laundering service which was so helpful. Hotel was very walkable to the numerous cafe’s. Great place would recommend to book here."

"The room was clean and adequate for a short stay. There was no fan or way to cool the room. The bed was firm. The breakfast is an additional 15euros and is at best worth 10 euros. It was not stocked well either. The staff was polite. The water machine poured warm water. There was No ice. I KNOW that is not common in Europe but be the "extra"ordinary....not the standard. The location was convenient. We would not stay again if we had other options."

"The property is beautiful and in a very nice location to several Normandy area sites. The staff was kind but not as well informed as a concierge and since they didn’t have one, it seemed to us that this should be remedied. For example we wanted to know about the distillery closest to the hotel and they could not tell us anything even though their products were available for purchase from them. It wasn’t a big thing but a miss that seems pretty easy to address. We would happily stay their again-especially for the reasonable pricing we were charged for this period."
