Beautiful and characterful property with many historic references and quirks. Friendly host who served the best gin and tonics in the sun filled outside bower. Breakfast was brilliant and generous with quality ingredients. A place to revisit

The double bed was small, we barely fitted lying on our back. The room was over decorated with wild fliower and bird wallpaper everywhere. Not restful. There was a good sized bathroom but shower option was only via bath hose, not for us. The additional charge €10 each for continental breakfast was ok, but nothing special. There are extensive grounds which were nice to exercise the dog, but it was raining. We wouldn’t stay again.

Superbe Hôtel et parc

Exceptionnel. Le lieu est magique, on y accède par un chemin entourée d’arbres, l’hôtel se trouve au milieu de la nature. Le parc est très beau ainsi que la bâtisse. La chambre était incroyable, immense et très belle. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit c’était tout simplement un endroit magique. Une mention spéciale pour le super accueil également.

On est immédiatement conquis par le charme de cette belle maison de maître et par l'accueil de la maîtresse des lieux. Calme, confort, chambre aménagée avec goût et un parc vaste qui entoure la maison (un petit château). A cela on ajoute un petit déjeuner complet qui offre des options sucrées et salées, avec vue sur le parc. Et un pain qui est du vrai bon pain - ce qui est suffisamment rare mour être signalé. Un petit bijou à 10 mn en voiture du centre de la ville du Mans, dans un cadre champêtre.

Would be great if reservations were respected

The 8-room hotel is very picturesque and was quiet and comfortable. The gentleman host was quite attentive and provided tips on nearby sights and dining, as well as set a nice breakfast the next morning. However, I made a reservation over a month in advance for one of the two suites yet arrived to find out my room had been “given away” and the one I was led to was in no way comparable to my expectation. Additionally, the host insisted on charging me for the full rate of my original booking (though the room I was actually provided was listed for nearly half the rate). Would love to give this hotel a favorable review, but I don’t appreciate being rolled.
