"We stayed in the King Suite which was lovely and recently renovated. The hotel, staff and food were excellent. The only comment I would make is that our room was over the compressor and although the noise from it didn't bother me at all, my partner found it disturbed his sleep. If you're sensitive to sound you might want to choose any of the other rooms. There are no hangers in the room - just hooks - so if you have something that requires hanging, pack a hanger.

"Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful "
