"We were in room 36 which was newly renovated with an enormous bathroom - it was lovely! We sat outside in the evening and had a wonderful cheese and meat board with some rosé. We have stayed here 3 times and it’s a really convenient stop over place on the way home from the Dordogne back to Calais."
"Good welcome on arrival. Helpful staff at breakfast and checkout.
Good comfortable room and very good shower room for the class.
Very convenient location with tram stop outside for getting into the centre of the city easily."
"The hotel is in a very convenient location near Le Mans. In August 2026 there were building works going on on the site. The staff on reception were all very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Breakfast was self service but a good range of foods and drinks on offer; the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. Be aware that the restaurant is not open on a Sunday evening; we unfortunately were not aware of this in advance!
Our room was on the ground floor, spacious enough and very clean. As we were travelling with our dog, this was perfect. There is a small local park nearby which was also very useful."
"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Chateau de Lauresse, our daughter in particular enjoyed the horses that would come up to her and were very friendly. We had our dog with us who was very welcome and allowed to roam the gardens, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The pool was excellent, the pool toys and sauna, as well as other games (table football/pétanque etc.), steam room, meant it was very well equipped and felt special. We had the meal which we really enjoyed, the portions were large so be prepared. We stayed in the royal suite, the rooms were very large and nicely decorated, comfortable beds and the biggest shower I’ve ever encountered in the en-suite bathroom, all with high ceilings so felt very spacious."
"Beautiful old hotel renovated considerately, the staff were welcoming and dinner was delicious. Great facilities for a stop over in this region I would return again and highly recommend."
