"I rarely give scathing reviews, but our trip included harassement from the hotel manager and I want to make sure our experience doesn't go unnoticed. The booking was a work trip for my husband. At the hotel the heating was broken (mid-November) and the hotel manager put a small space heater to "solve the problem". We asked for a different solution or to be moved to a different hotel. "We were in Saint-Etienne for the Rugby World Cup. This hotel is ideally located to the city Center. Tram rides to the stadium were very convenient. "

"Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Although we seemed to be the only guests because the season had not started yet, the place was homely with its local caféguests. Our host Pat did everything to make two hikers comfortable; the evening meal and breakfast were superb! I highly recommend the place - and to check the rules and time for checing in."
