Very nice hotel. Everything was as expected. Hotel stuff super friendly, hospital and always very helpful. I really can recommend "The Bounty" beach restaurant which belongs to the hotel, probably the the best in the area.

Avoid - scam. I often use Expedia and have always been very satisfied with the services. However, today I encountered a serious problem at Hilton Cabo Verde (Sal – Cape Verde). Although I paid the full room price in advance through the platform (excluding taxes, which were to be paid locally), I was forced to pay the full amount again at a higher room rate upon check-out. They claimed they had received no payment from Expedia. I refused to pay, but my taxi was physically stopped until I paid, and they threatened to involve the police. That’s not a situation I wanted to be in while in Africa, especially just two hours before my flight. I was therefore forced to pay a second time, at a higher rate. I have all proof of booking with and the double payment to the hotel. A hotel like this doesn’t belong on this platform.

The location for enjoying the beach was perfect! There is a lovely long clean beach with lounge chairs and shade for guests. Nice dining options. We stayed primarily at the resort due to travel timing but the nearby town was cute.

when I arrived there was no welcome. no one takes your bags, they don't give you information, they are very very disorganized, the restaurants in the structure are a disaster, the staff doesn't pay attention to anything. you wait for everything for a very long time. I left the structure and the island two days before and I was very pissed off. it's expensive and I don't recommend it to anyone

The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were wonderful. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Lots of sun lounges around the large pool. It was an easy walk to the main tourist and dining area in Santa Maria

Amazing stay because of amazing staff!

This was an amazing stay! I would recommend this hotel without reservation! This is largely because of the amazing staff, from the front desk staff, the spa staff (I had an awesome massage and body treatment), to the waitstaff and the xleaning staff! I truly hope the hotel takes care of its employees, because they deserve it! The staff took care of every need with a smile, which is not easy given the difficult jobs they hold!

friendly personnel quiet beach with wind shields great variety at breakfast ~ ocean view partially not worth it - had a side view and looked straight to a "construction site", pool view definitely nicer - beverage prices at hotel market and restaurant cleaning could be improved - putting our clothes in the wardrobe we found a pack of cigarettes and a lighter the customers before us forgot there
