We really liked the hotel, breakfast was substantial and in a beautiful location. Sunbeds were always available, including in the shade. Beachfront bar beautiful spot to watch the sunset.
It is possible that we were just unlucky, especially as we arrived late in the evening to a fully booked hotel for a short stay, but we were disappointed by a number of aspects of our room. Though we had booked a double room, we were given a twin room and when we queried were told just to push the beds together and they would sort in the morning. It was 'sorted' by plugging the gap between the beds but it left light switches in the middle of the headboard that meant we were woken in the night when they were accidentally pressed. We asked for someone to come and unlock the safe in the room and, though they said they would send someone, this didn't happen so we were unable to use it. The ground floor room had the advertised terrace but it faced directly onto a road with cars parked immediately in front. The wind made a whistling sound like a kettle whistle throughout the day and night which we needed earplugs to block out. During the day there was loud construction work directly outside our door as they were repairing a lift.
We really liked the hotel, and the maids kept the room spotless, but it was a shame that our room was only really suitable for showering and sleeping.
