"Very quiet and relaxing resort at the very south point of Koh Chang. This saved us some 1,000 THB taxi fare because most of the snorkling boat tours departured from the pier about 1 km away. The staff was very proffesional and the included breakfast was excellent. We can highly recommend this place for tranquility and quiet but also to explore the rainforest just around the corner."

"The resort is beautiful and the views from the rooms and pool area are stunning. The service is top notch and the breakfast + drinks were delicious. The beachfront is more aesthetic as it's very rocky, so not the type of beach you can swim in or enter. That being said, it was very cheap and easy to get transport to the other beaches around the island. "

The accommodation was very comfortable and it was such a pleasure to look directly out to the beach and water from the front door. And there was a lovely porch there to sit on and enjoy the scenery. "The spa was ok and staff were friendly. BUT under no circumstances take the tour operators they supply. It took us 7 hours in an appalling old smelly van to get to Pattaya. I missed my flight and the driver was both aggressive and very rude. I was told it would take maximum 5 hours. There were no traffic jams but the van wouldn't go above 70kms an hour. "We had a wonderful 5 days at The Tropical. Since it’s located at the end of a beach there were fewer people on our beach yet it was close enough to walk to other restaurants and the Bangbao area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even helped us book a private taxi back to Bangkok at half the price other resorts were offering. "Well, i travelled here on my first trip back to Thailand after covid. Stayed for 2 magnificent weeks, the people working here are helpful with anything you need. Everyday when i come in the morning they will be here cleaning and getting ready to open the resturant for food and coffee.
