"Breakfast buffet was fine, except the tomatoes were prepackaged and the juices weren’t fresh. Almost all of the staff were very kind and welcoming. The hotel itself is situated in a beautiful rural setting with amazing views all around. Definitely a place to find peace and relaxation. "

"During Semana Santa, Montserrat should make sure they give rooms to their hotel’s customers as far away as possible from the bar where the restaurant’s customers party until 4 am! I was here to rest and sleep. It was possible from 4.30 am after the staff rearranged the bar and the annoying metallic chairs."

"A terrible experience. We booked 2 nights but decided to leave after the first night. There was loud talking coming from the hosts apartment which is directly below. This continued from 2am until 4:20am. It was impossible to sleep. The mattress was worn and suffered from roll together. The place was freezing when we arrived with no way of turning on any heating. Then at 9pm the radiators came on and it became stiflingly hot with no way of turning them down. There was no tea or coffee making facilities. Not even a sachet of instant coffee. No breakfast provision was mentioned. We knocked on the apartment door below to try to raise the host unsuccessfully between 8:30am and 9:30am. By the time the host eventually responded we had packed and were ready to leave. We tried to ask for a refund both in person and by messaging, in view of how badly misdescribed the property was but the host refused and kept full payment for the 2 nights. The additional £50 spent on a hotel was well worth it to get away from there. "

"Lovely restored building with an amazing roof deck. Fantastic breakfast. The proprietor Maurice went way above and beyond—our car was struck by another car while parked in a village lot, and he took care of everything for us with the police, the insurance forms, etc. We would love to stay here again."
