The staff at this hotel was super welcoming and helpful during my stay. The hotel is only a 8-10 minute walk from the town square. The area around the hotel is quiet at night. The only con I have is that the rooms have poor ventilation. There are windows, but they open into the hotel’s hallways. I wish the room had a fan or exterior-facing but windows. Other than that, it was a good stay.

The staff here was very friendly and helpful and it was in a nice, quiet and safe location. Rooms were generally comfortable and clean, but lacked charm. A few tweaks and touches would fix this and make them more inviting. The sister restaurant where breakfast was served had a lively atmosphere with helpful staff/owner willing to give welcome advice about the beautiful and vibrant Salento area!

We arrived to Salento before check in, room was ready to put our luggage. Alexandra at the front desk was very helpful, and welcoming, she spoke a little bit of English wish was great. Hotel is in a very quiet neighbourhood and walking distance to everything.

Nice little hotel in the middle of Salento. Perhaps a bit pricey for what it offers as it is very basic. The hotel setup means there are no windows or natural sunlight into the rooms which would be ok if there was at least a heater in the room: Salento is a cold town and the hotel rooms get really really cold in the nights!

Our stay here was good! However, getting the hot water to work was a little complicated but that’s due to not being used to the shower beforehand. Definitely recommend staying here!

Standard hotel in Salento
The hotel is located not far from the center of Salento. When I visited for a few nights, I was the only one there! Overall I would say it's a typical hotel. Perhaps it could be loud if there were many guests. Clean enough, hot water, good bed. Hosts were helpful. The business is two buildings - the hotel and the restaurant/bar/soccer place. Breakfast was good.

Great hotel that's a 5 min walk from the town center. Clean and quiet with new and modern fixtures in the room. The sister restaurant is right around the corner. Staff couldn't be nicer.

Some receptionists friendly, some not so much. One day tea is included in the breakfast, next day not. Advertises things that are not included. No in-room safe, and certainly no self-serve laundry that we ever saw. Tea/coffee offered in courtyard is a nice touch.

This is one of the best hotels in Salento. The host/owner speaks perfect English and is a great help in recommending things to do. The hotel is very charming and immaculate. The breakfast everyday is excellent. An incredible place to stay for the price!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the complimentary breakfasts each morning with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, fruit, toast, and fresh squeezed orange juice. Also the coffee and tea set out in the courtyard by the rooms each morning was a nice touch. Our king-bedded room was clean, quiet, and had a modern bathroom with great shower. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice, smart room at a reasonable price
Beta Hotel was overall a nice stay. The room was clean and smart, shower was hot. The hotel is in a good location 3 blocks from the main square in Salento. A couple of negatives - it's very noisy in the morning as the rooms only have shutters dividing them from a main courtyard and there was nowhere in the room to hang clothes. That aside it was a good stay.

A decent hotel for the price. Very small and tight space with no TV. Close to everything and walkable. WIFI was in and out but worked most of the time.

Just ok
Great location, but lacking the charm of Salento. I will say that it was very clean. However, there was no window and bad circulation. No common area either, unless you walk over to bar. Room was very basic. I was overcharged for transportation. Had someone else take me back for half the price Beta Town charged. I was also told someone would give me information on hiking in the area, but no one ever contacted me.

Can't recommend sorry, even for the price
Room was damp, dark, noisy & no window. Sorry but can't recommend "hotel" rooms. I would like to say a thank you to the the lady running the place and the young man who helped us with overnight bus booking, they were great and I think the hostel and facilities have a lot of promise but hotel is a street away from that and not amazing. Was quite cheap to stay here but there must be better value for money elsewhere in Solento.

Tout était parfait! Nous avions réservé pour 3 nuits et finalement, nous avons décidé d'y rester une nuit de plus tellement nous y étions bien. Le personnel a été exceptionnel. Les dames étaient très serviables et toujours souriantes. L'endroit est calme et sécuritaire. Le déjeuner inclus est copieux et bon. La chambre était très propre et le lit hyper confortable. Rien à dire de négatif. Nous recommandons fortement.

Sehr zentral aber trotzdem ruhig. Bei den oberen Zimmern auch kein Problem das Fenster offen zu lassen in der Nacht. Heiße Dusche und Zimmergröße sehr gut. Frühstück ausreichend und Personal sehr freundlich.

Personnel adorable qui vous donne l’heure juste au sujet des tours. Plus efficace qu’un bureau d’information touristique. Restaurant offrant une cuisine fraîche et savoureuse à prix très raisonnable. Le seul bémol est l’espace dans la chambre et la salle de bain. Relativement étroit. Pour leste, tout était parfait.
