"We arrived at Vila Nika to discover that it had been booked already but the owner gave us a room in the Boutique Cosmopolis situated opposite. The view was much prettier, we could see the sunset on the sea, it was beautiful. However there was no kitchenette so we struggled a fair bit in terms of cleaning cups/spoons/etc where we had to use the sink in the bathroom. The service is beyond traditional five-star hospitality—it is presidential-class. Personal, extraordinarily discreet, intuitive, and completely effortless. The team has mastered the ability to anticipate what you want before you ever have to ask. The rooms are spectacular. Architecturally remarkable, incredibly private, serene, and sophisticated, they feel entirely connected to the landscape of Dugi Otok. Nothing here feels mass-produced or formulaic. It is intimate luxury at its absolute best. The culinary experience is equally extraordinary. The chef and team deliver Michelin-starred dining that deserves to be considered a destination in itself.
