Property was very cozy and nice. Room was small (1bd), but it stayed warm and everything was clean and worked! Zero issues. There is an area where there are chairs, littles, fire pit, and a gazebo for people to hang out and chill early morning/evening. Sounds like more to come in the next couple years. Donna(?) Was very friendly and professional. She messaged me to make sure when we would arrive and made sure we were we made it and got into our rooms way after the office closed.

This was the sweetest place! The room was exceptional (so clean) and the service was the best. This will definitely be where we stay in this area. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

Dawn, the owner was exceptional! We met her husband that evening at the fire pit. He was very friendly. The only downfall of this experience was the size of our cabin. It was very very small. It was clean, quiet and affordable.

Dawn and Jimmy are wonderful! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The lodge is only 20 minutes from Monarch and 10 minutes from Salida. There is a food truck next door that serves a delicious breakfast. This was a great base camp for our little ski trip.
