Old and run down, poor mattress and pillows. The good thing is that the price was acceptable for a late nigjt arrival and early am departure. Pretty seedy area too. Also, not at all eco friendly. Still has individual use toiletries.

Great property. Very clean, easy to find, has all the essentials for a comfortable stay. An added bonus, a historic Salona POW camp is a short walk away.

Sherlynn and Sean are superb hosts and owners, and (I believe) excellent caretakers and housekeeping practitioners. While it's likely that they employ some ouside help, they are the primary movers and shakers at this older but rapidly improving property. That "improvement" was likely sorely needed when they acquired this motel over 2 years ago. When I arrived for the first time, it was obvious that much TLC was necessary, and it was also obvious that its new owners had the energy and creativity to give it their all. Since then, it has evolved into a facility that had the capability of providing all but the most discriminating traveler a high degree of comfort and convenience, all at a great price point. Whether you're overnighting in Salina or are going to be in-town for a few days, you'll could hardly go wrong by staying here. It's clean and comfortable and the rooms in which I have stayed have been artfully updated with new furnishings and fixtures. Though it retains its original configuration, there is much to be appreciated. If you're at all reticent to book, I strongly suggest that you call Sean and/or Sherlynn directly to discuss any special reqjuirements and to have your questions answered. My experience strongly suggests you'll get straight answers and and that you'll have the reassurances you need, AND that they'll deliver for you.

Staff was wellcoming when arrived and helpful providing useful information to dinner and breakfast, room was calm, clean and confortable. However, furniture in the room should be renewed and a door in the wall (between another room) should be eliminate.

I cannot say enough about the service at this hotel. The staff is so GREAT! The one night we came back late and our key would not work. We turned around to go to the front office and here came the office girl with two new keys. We had not even made it down the stairs. AWESOME! It's also close to the cutest coffee shop. LOVE IT!

This is the only place we stay when we travel to Salina the couple weekends a year that we do. It’s small, quiet and the owners/staff are great everytime. They are doing updates on the rooms and it looks great!

The other guests weren't kidding, this place is impeccably clean, you can tell the housekeeping staff take pride in their work. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and bedding. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Cute little town, worth a stop if you're taking the scenic route. Would stay again.
