Hotel staff are lovely, even phoned the day we landed to see if we would make it for dinner or if we needed a cooked dinner packing. Everyone is happy to help and the rooms are lovely.

Lovely family hotel

Fab family hotel, really caters well for children. Pools were lovely and staff very friendly. Great location Only negative is people putting towels on the sun loungers then disappearing for half the day, often blocking 4 or 5 chairs together in the best position

Would definately stay here again. Good location to everything, friendly staff, rooms spacious and clean. Only negative that could be made right was there was only 1 mirror (not ideal when in the bathroom when everyone getting ready for a night out) and also no plug sockets in the extra bedroom. Apart from that excellent and would recommend this accomodation

Fabulous stay!!

Lovely hotel, really good for small kids & the staff were brilliant. My 13yr old daughter loved the night entertainment, best i have ever seen on a family holiday. Bed was not very comfortable but that was the only thing I would say negative. I would love to stay again but I feel it’s more for families with small kids & not teenagers. Loved our stay, thanks so much to all the staff who work so hard & without them it wouldn’t be the same.

Had a great holiday here

Really enjoyed my stay in Golden Avenida. We booked as bed and breakfast and the buffet every morning was really worth it. It has everything (apart from Weetabix which we bought for our daughter at a shop) Rooms are spotless and well kept. We stayed in pool facing one and it was really quiet at night. Had lunch at hotel bar couple of times and it was really reasonable and great quality. If you have small kids there entertainment at night, also pool and air hockey tables for older ones. Location only a short walk to main strip.

May bank holiday short stays

Just back from a 3 night bank holiday break. We just needed a base as we planned to visit Port Aventura theme park. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Location was great, just a short walk away from the main strip where there are bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is also a short walk. Taxi’s were easy to get from the hotel and only a 10 min drive to Port Aventura. Bar staff in the hotel were friendly and service was quick. Entertainment great for young children, staff work hard to entertain guest. The Pool is a good size and lots of space. Could be heated though as it was like an ice bath. Room was nice and comfortable, small kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and kettle. Made service cleaned and made beds but did not restock tea & coffee, however a quick request to reception fixed this. Lots of storage space and a safe available for €10 refundable deposit. No iron in the room, and only 3 plug sockets, 1 in the bathroom, 2 in the kitchenette and one in the sofa area. None in the bedroom. We had a side pool view. Didn’t eat in the restaurant therefore cannot comment on food however we did get a Pizza in the pool bar which was nice and the cocktails were so good!

Fantastic hotel

Absolutely fantastic stay. Hotel had everything we needed for our first trip abroad with our baby. Food was fantastic. Communication was great - cot in our room as requested in our booking. Couldn't fault anything would happily stay again.

Booked this for a mixed range of people from us mid 60’s to grandkids aged 5&7 and would have to say we were super impressed. We had 2 apartments booked when we arrived they were in the 6th floor which didn’t use as one member of the party doesn’t use lifts. Immediately this was changed to the 2nd floor. The apartments were slightly different due to the make up of our party. One had table and 4 chairs other had a lovely sitting room area. The breakfast choice was amazing and the in house entertainment programme was fantastic. Such a choice of events for both adults and kids provided by an amazing team. I would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation for a visit to Salou.
