The area is amazing. Walking trails, restaurants a plenty! All good. The hotel though could use some updating. It wasn't bad, but you get what you pay for. I had a room on the ground floor, the curtains didn't close all the way. I made it work with some hangers and such, but it took a bit to get used.

Enjoyed our first stay in Salt lake and this area of sugar house is the best parking is somewhat limited but the hotel was nice free 'snack' breakfast but the kitchen in room was perfect.

Made a last minute reservation to stay in Salt Lake City. The room was clean and well maintained. We did have an issue with the towel rack being significantly loose and the flashing around the tub drain was loose but over the experience was good. My only suggestion for the property would be to leave a travel sized bottle of dish soap and a cheap scrubbing sponge in the mini-kitchen so guests can clean the borrowed dishes.

Overall it was a nice stay at the hotel. There were few things that they can be improved. Good : 1. Bed and office chair were comfortable. Bed-sheets were clean. 2. Fridge was empty and clean. Microwave had some smell but its understood. 3. Bathroom was also clean and ample towels were there. Area to improve: 1. Breakfast was only muffin, pie and,coffee. No warm item. It should be clear, a picture would help. 2. Put one or two water bottle in the room. One needs some drinking water after check in. Missing dishes or glasses. Its a hassle to ask front-desk to bring those to your room. Just put the most essentials like a cup, spoon, and a glass. 3. Had trouble connecting to the internet. No password to connect but rather your name, room number and other details needed to connect. Front desk staff gave a number to contact for any technical issue. it worked eventually but it scared me for a while.
