"Beautiful view of the lake! Delicious buffet breakfast with friendly staff. The room was presented beautifully with special arrangements made for our anniversary. Bathroom was clean and fully stocked with essentials. Slightly old may need touch ups to paint work around sockets etc. "

"The staff were very good and polite. The property was going through updating work which I wasn’t aware off. What was disappointing that this occurred at 8 on a Sunday morning. That for me was not really acceptable. "

"We stayed for a short trip to Wexford to do some business that coincided with our anniversary. The hotel kindly put a fridge in our room that I needed for some medication, and in the message via the Hotels.com portal I mentioned that we were looking forward to staying for our anniversary. Imagine our surprise when we arrived to discover that the Whitford team had upgraded our room and put a wonderful dessert dish with the message 'happy anniversary' written in chocolate. The team went out of their way for everything, the Wexford people are so lovely, which carries through to all the staff we encountered. I remember coming here when I was a small child and so lovely to see that the hotel has grown to the wonderful establishment that is here today, without losing any of the charm. The hotel is in a prime spot for going into town, or further afield for sightseeing. After staying in several different hotels when we visit Wexford to 'try them out' - We will definitely be back to this one!"
