The surroundings were quaint, and the property, the staff, the food, and the beach were all incredible. We travel extensively, and this was a place we will return to for leisure and a 5-star respite any time! If you are looking for partying -- don't come here. Overall reviews would be back, the views are pretty amazing, the private beach is great, the food was mid, they seem to have many restaurants because you can see the signs and entrances, but most were closed. 2 were open and they only served at certain times which can be inconvenient, but for me was not that big of a deal. Room was really clean, and had everything you needed, but they never stocked my fridge. Very limited room service menu. Pool was super clean so was the beach.

I recently stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe Samana and I must say, the experience was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel boasts one of the most spectacular beaches we've ever visited, with stunning views and crystal-clear waters. Without a doubt, we would love to return and stay here again!

I like the cleanliness of the property but most of all the staffs in all areas from reception to lifeguards. Everyone go out of their way to provide good services. Special mention to Berma from recepción and Nurkey from the Spa. The buffet could add more variety menus for improvement. The Olas restaurant menu was vey good. Good job everyone.

Small hotel, right on the street so street noice is loud, they are under construction with very loud noice, food was very limited when we got there because the main dinning area was also close under construction, our room had musty smell, everything is old and it needs updating. We were there only for 20 minutes because we checked out and now they refuse to refund our money. I will have to dispute the charges with our credit card company if they continue to refund the charges, Expedia try to get the money back without any luck but I feel they don’t do enough.
