"Very nice room, very clean, very private, staff were wonderful!"

"First, we arrived by car and the road leading to Lagarta Lodge was rough to navigate, but once we arrived we were thrilled. Daniel greeted us in the lobby with a special drink and a hot moist cloth to was our hands. Our room had a panoramic view of the ocean and sunset. Our balcony was furnished with chairs, a table and a hammock. There were 3 infinity pools (one with a bar and one was a hot tub). Dining on site while watching the sunset was nothing short of remarkable. There was a complimentary shuttle that could take you in and out of Nosara. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach and the easy walk along the extended, sandy beach was very enjoyable. Staff were very prompt and attentive."

"Large spotless room with plenty of space for belongings and comfortable bed. Private porch with chairs and table. Nice pool with chaise lounges and tables to eat surrounding it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Because we needed to leave at 5am they kindly made up breakfast boxes for us the night before. Short walk to a lovely beach where we swam and snorkeled. Wonderful hotel!"

"Extremely secure and secluded. Villa to villa distance is quite far and we could not see or hear anyone else. Grounds are very large, beach is pretty much private but you should know it’s a bit of a walk from some of the villas around to the restaurant and beach. Private pool was very nice and overall good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with, 10/10 for the staff! "

"Very nice hotel. Close to multiple restaurant and a 2 minute walk from the beach. They have 2 pool with long chairs. Staff very helpful and friendly. We reserved for one night only and regretted it right away because we would have stayed longer but it was fully booked. Recommend 100%"

"Personal attention day and night from owner Nathan. He's everywhere when you need him, a truly caring and thoughtful host. Great views from the upper cabin and eating area. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive for the road that leads to this private lodge."
