"Stayed only one night, but very much enjoyed the stay. Room 2 (deluxe double room) was big, with high ceilings, and very nice finishes. Good bed, good water pressure in the shower, powerful AC (once you activate it with the room key, can’t keep it on when you leave). One note: there is no front desk and communication is done via messaging, including check-in instructions, but they are very prompt to respond. Will return!"

"We stayed here the night before our cruise and it was great. Walkable to restaurants and very convenient and easy to walk to the port. The staff was very welcoming and even had snacks and beverages in the room waiting for us."

"The building is very authentic and beautiful. The public areas and rooms have high ceilings and a historical feel. Original features of what was a substantial home remain and have been renovated sympathetically. Our room was a suite which was large with a very large outdoor terrace. Robes and slippers were provided. A nespresso machine and kettle were welcome. Breakfast was varied and of high quality at a reasonable price. Staff were helpful and friendly . The pool was some way from the hotel which was a little disappointing but did not spoil our enjoyment. We loved our stay and would stay again. If there is one suggestion I could make it would be to be able to enjoy some shade such as an umbrella on the terrace as it was very warm during our stay ."

"Wonderful stay in a beautiful historical building! The AC worked fabulously during the Italian heatwave and the shower was hot and heavenly. The location was very accessible and easy walking to amenities. Our family stayed one night prior to cruise departure. Great service and responsiveness from Claudia our host. Thank you!"
