"The room was absolutely lovely and restful. The hotel is very very nice and had a warm and relaxing feel to it. Old world elegance is the term I would use. We had breakfast and dinner at the Tach restaurant. The breakfast was very good with a varieties of choices and very farm to table. The dinner was excellent. Staff always friendly and attentive. The bar is especially charming and made a mean whisky sour. Loved the fireplaces for a cosy nightcap. All in all, a very pleasant stay. The only recommendation? Perhaps be the first luxury hotel to offer excellent decaf coffee. "

"Location was nice, convenient to catch local buses and tours and restaurants. Rooftop patio beautiful but it gets locked at night so you can't watch the stars. Water is hot, beds comfy, room was a good size. Noise travels, bring earplugs if light sleeper. No general place to check in with person, so need to read the signs on wall to be able to get wifi and message to checkin. Easy to miss when you are exhausted after travel. But owners very lovely and helpful with ideas on what to do."

"Great little spot in the centre of town, perfect for people taking tours or just looking to walk the area. The little coffee shop provides the most wonderful coffee in the morning and a little sweets or the sweet tooth in your family. The staff is incredibly friendly., speak fluent in English. We will definitely be back."
