"Stay here! Most people visit Xilitla for the Edward James gardens, which is 10 min from town center. Other than that gardens there are a bunch of tourist things like a brewery and hotel next to the gardens. If you stay out there, you are captive there; you have to eat there or wait until the morning when taxis start running to bring you to town. I recommend that you stay in Xilitla center. This is the best hotel there, very clean, spacious, quiet, great staff. It is located off the main plaza in Xilitla which is a fun town to explore. It's on a pedestrian street with L Carrington sculptures. You can walk to cafes (try Xilitla grown coffees) and restaurants, shops. Bus station is a block away. Lorena Carrington museum is across the street (bonus). There is also a pharmacy across the street if you need anything. We highly recommend this hotel."
"The property is located in a beautiful setting surrounded by lush vegetation. The rooms are spacious and nice. The restaurant is really good, the food was delicious and the presentation was really elegant, offers food from the area, really well done. It probably needs to add more amenities like a gym, and more things to do within the hotel itself apart from the pool and the spa. But I highly recommend this place, it is close to Xilitla about 1/2 hour, within 1:15 hours of Tamul waterfalls and the Sotano de las Golondrinas, and about 40 min south of Ciudad Valle."
"Gorgeous older hotel. Looked like a castle. It has a lot of stairs but worth it. Great history of the place. And the included breakfast is homemade was as great as restaurant food! Staff were very humble and helpful."
"This was a beautiful hotel tucked away in the heart of Xilitla it was very convenient because the Edward James Garden was walkable just down the road. The check-in process was very easy and the staff was amazing. The rooms were clean and the restaurant at the property had wonderful staff and food. "
"Hotel is nice and clean, area has very steep roads so driving is a little difficult to navigate. But the hotel itself is a great , service is great , food was great , rooms are on the smaller size max is 2 adults and 2 kids. Based off the room we chose. They have laundry service so that is another great amenity. Definitely would stay again"
"Great location- only 1 blick from the center square, friendly staff, rooms are large and clean. The pool looked great, and the patio with the jalapa has a beautiful view of the mountains. Highly recommend!"
"The staff was super accommodating, friendly and professional.
The property is beautiful and the pool is fantastic.
I will definitely be returning very soʻn."
