"Conveniently situated between Florence and Siena in the heart of the Chianti region with stunning views. Friendly relaxed hosts who provide a substantial breakfast. Beautiful large swimming pool to cool off at the end of the day."

"Beds were comfy, sheets and towels were clean. A tea towel and dishwashing sponge / washing up liquid would have been useful, but the chalet was otherwise well equipped for basic cooking. Nice pizzeria and mini market on site with fresh bread and croissants daily as well as most other essential items. Good sized swimming pool - swimming hats compulsory but sold cheaply at the pool bar. Buses into Sienna stop near the site entrance - night buses back are a bit confusing though! Staff at reception...

The apartments are spacious and have everything you need except maybe some hair conditioner. The breakfast wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but fine with a decent selection. "The pool was very nice overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The hotel has a nice ambience, rustic but very clean an updated. I like there were big windows that could open to a garden from the room. Getting around was a bit difficult even with a car. Very steep hills and is not so walkable. Very windy roads so it takes longer than expected to get to places. There are 2 nice villages very close by with different kind of restaurants. Barberino has stunning views. There is a walkable trail very close by a little creek but need to ask for directions, it's very secluded . The restaurant has really good food and service. Breakfast , very good, american style and italian.Perfect place for a honeymoon"

"Just a gorgeous restored historic property. The grounds are beautiful and amazing. While the rooms lack the latest/modern amenities (including AC), they make up for it with loads of character and charm and were perfect for our adult family of 4. Our stay was definitely an unexpected highlight of our 8 day Italy vacation"
